His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the regent, accompanied His Royal Highness Prince William, Duke of Cambridge in a visit to the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) which was established by HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein to build a brighter future for Jordanian youth and support them in realizing their aspirations.
HRH Prince William was exposed to several of CPF’s initiative which focus on instilling the leadership values and innovation skills within Jordanian youth. While visiting CPF, HRH Prince William and HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein spent time in TechWorks, a Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab) and one of CPF’s initiatives.
During the visit, several youth participants from various CPF initiatives presented creative and technical projects that they had created and implemented with the support and facilities accessed through CPF. Students from Al Hussein Technical University, Haqiq, and Masar all displayed the innovative products that were built using the FabLab facilities.
Additionally, HRH Prince William met with Dr. Fawaz Zu’bi, Chairman of CPF’s Board of Trustees and Dr. Tamam Mango, CEO of CPF who offered a souvenir to HRH Prince William, made using the TechWorks equipment.
