“Haqiq” Initiative elections which took place in all governorates of the Kingdom ended with the participation of 1636 knights who voted for 88 competing members.
“HAQIQ” Councils aim to organize voluntary efforts of youth in the governorates, and elections are done annually forming and selecting the 12 councils of the initiative representing the 12 governorates, in addition to 3 regional councils representing the North, Center and South of the Kingdom.
The elections which were executed for the third year in a row resulted in selecting 35 female and male knights representing the councils in the governorates, while 8 knights won at a regional level.
Twenty-five members of administrative councils in Tafila, Ma'an, Balqa and Jerash, as well as four members of the regional councils in Zarqa, Ma'an, Tafila and Aqaba won uncontested. Councils of “Haqiq” implemented 645 activities and voluntary work during the past year, reaching more than 34,905 thousand young men and women, in all governorates of the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that Haqiq is one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation and is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth.
