Amman 26 July, 2017 – Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today with the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) - Jordan Chapter to establish a partnership in technological and educational development.
The MoU was signed during the official inauguration ceremony of the AFCEA - Jordan Chapter at the King Hussein Business Park (KHBP), under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein; Honorary Chairman of the AFCEA - Jordan Chapter.
The MoU set a framework for a strong academic and technical cooperation between HTU and AFCEA - Jordan Chapter in areas of technology, communication, electronics and cyber security and will utilize AFCEA’s extensive network of like-minded professionals to address the latest developments and issues in the defense, security and intelligence communities.
This agreement will also set roles for both parties to work cooperatively to design, produce and implement professional courses taught by recognized experts in areas of modern C4ISR. “AFCEA – Jordan Chapter will be an advocate in STEM education and practices, and will facilitate students exchange opportunities and academic support "noted H.E. Eng. Rula Ammouri, President of the AFCEA - Jordan Chapter, emphasized that this cooperation was a strategic step that would provide a practical model of partnership between HTU and the AFCEA.
