Elections for the councils of  “Haqiq” Initiative kicked off in all governorates

Elections for the councils of  “Haqiq” Initiative, one of the Crown Prince Foundation Initiatives, kicked off in all governorates of the Kingdom. 1636 female and male knights from the initiative participated in these elections where 88 competed for the initiative's administrative and regional councils in all governorates. Members of the administrative and regional councils in Tafila, Ma'an and Aqaba won uncontested as well as regional council members in Zarqa, administrative council members in Balqa, and Jerash won uncontested.

Councils of “Haqiq” implemented 645 activities and voluntary work during the past year, reaching more than 34,905 thousand young men and women, in all governorates of the Kingdom.

It is noteworthy to mention that the council elections are held annually and aim to form and select the initiatives’ 12 councils in all 12 governorates, in addition to 3 regional councils in the North, Center, and South of the Kingdom, while aiming to organize the volunteering youth efforts in the governorates.
